How to Remove Explicit Tracks in Spotify Playlists Before Importing?

You can use Spotify's Remove Explicit Tracks function in your account settings to automatically filter out explicit songs before importing your playlist into Audalize.

Steps to Remove Explicit Tracks in Spotify:

  1. Open Spotify Settings

    • On desktop, click your profile icon (top right) > Settings.
    • On mobile, tap Home > Settings (gear icon) > Explicit Content.
  2. Enable "Remove Explicit Tracks"

    • In the Explicit Content section, toggle "Remove Explicit Tracks" to ON.
    • This will grey out explicit songs in your playlists, preventing them from playing or being imported.
  3. Verify Your Playlist

    • Check your playlist to ensure explicit tracks are now greyed out and removed.
  4. Import Your Playlist into Audalize

    • Once explicit tracks are removed, you can safely import your filtered playlist into Audalize without explicit content.
