# How to Search for an Artist?

You can search for an artist in Audalize through the **Search** section on the left-side panel. This allows you to quickly find artists, their albums, songs, and related playlists available in the Audalize catalogue.

**Using Search to Find an Artist**

The **Search** section is your go-to place for discovering music, including **artists, songs, albums, playlists, and genres**.

Audalize Search is powered by **Mixie**, our AI-powered music assistant that helps you find music faster and more accurately.

To search for an artist:

1. Open the **Search** section.
2. Enter the name of the artist you would like to find.
3. Use **Smart Search**, which can be enabled from Search or the AI Assistant in the Now Playing section, to browse the results.
4. Select the artist to view available songs, albums, and related content.

For example, searching for **Taylor Swift** will show relevant results, including her popular tracks, albums, and related playlists available in the Audalize catalogue.

**Browsing Artist Content**

Once you select an artist, you can explore:

- **Albums** – View available albums and their tracks.
- **Songs** – Browse individual tracks from the artist.
- **Related Playlists** – Discover playlists featuring the artist’s music or similar styles.

You can also use the **Catalogue** tab to explore ready-made playlists that may include music from your favourite artists, genres, or eras.
